National Farm Partner Self Assessments
The Greener Fields Together online self-assessment program builds on that vision by providing PRO*ACT National Farms suppliers an opportunity to measure their BMPs, knowledge management and measure-to-manage activities through a self-assessment approach. Answer results can then help suppliers benchmark practices and compare themselves anonymously against their peers.
The self-assessment program was rolled out in 2014 with an energy management module. Additional modules such as water and waste will be added over time. Farming and cooling/shipping/processing operations can all be evaluated so that sustainability efforts can be recognized and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
